Description

The Overlook project was located within Rabanus Park next to Schlossman YMCA. This project was done to create some useful park space within a large stormwater retention basin. We installed an overlook deck and natural play area. The overlook deck is constructed of concrete piers, structural steel, white oak decking, and a railing system. The natural play area used logs and rocks to create various play structures for children. Granular material was used to create paths throughout the basin. There was also a walking bridge installed over the waterway for people to access both sides of the park.
